Harold Brumby, 1907-1974 

On this day in 1907, this dapper looking fellow was born.

Harold Brumby, MBE – my 2nd cousin twice removed on my mother’s side. He was born in Lincolnshire, England to Arthur Rollitt Brumby and Bertha Barbey and married Hannah Elsie Harness of Yorkshire where they made their home and had 2 children. He worked as an aircraft designer and was awarded the MBE in 1973 for his services to Export.
He passed away the following year aged 67.
